It also serves as an allegory for youth and beauty at the threshold, pausing to consider a moment before moving forward. Adrian and his former model Sarah shopped together for the wedding dress and suitcase in Hollywood. In a twist of fate, Sarah would move out of state several years later to consider a marriage proposal from her longtime boyfriend. The original painting sold immediately but we are proud to have a very few remaining prints from an original lot of 12 that are available for sale.
