A live portrait painting demonstration with the artist.
Come join us for a guided introduction to painting from the live model. Adrian Gottlieb will share his painting techniques during a 12-hour demo which will take place over four 3-hour sessions on March 6-9, 2023 from 6pm to 9pm at the IMC (Independent Media Center) in Urbana. Anyone is welcome and artists are encouraged to bring their art supplies to draw or paint along with the artist.
This is the first introductory offering in a series of workshops from the artist. Adrian Gottlieb has 20 years of teaching experience in representational drawing and painting. He has taught small and large classes in the United States and across the world, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston, Memphis, Florence, Rome and Tel Aviv. He has also lectured on his teaching methods at museums and universities.
